Belmont Clan (Castlevania)

The Belmont family (sometimes translated as Belmondo or Belmond) is the bloodline sworn to oppose Count Dracula in the Castlevania series. They are not, however, the only main protagonists seen throughout the franchise, but typically play an integral role in most games' storylines. The Belmont surname was lost to some characters due to the European patrilineal naming tradition. If not Belmonts in name, they were certainly Belmonts by blood and conviction, and are accordingly considered part of the Belmont clan. The name later changed back to Belmont sometime in the 20th century.

The Belmont clan were cursed to fight Dracula every time he resurrected. The origins of this conflict date back to an act of betrayal by Mathias Cronqvist, who in 1094 used his former ally Leon Belmont to obtain immortality as revenge against God. Leon vowed that his kinsmen would hunt Mathias, who became known as Dracula. This battle would continue through the centuries until the Demon Castle War in 1999, when Dracula was finally destroyed. His essence, however, survived, and Julius Belmont continued to protect humanity through the 21st century.

FIFA 2012's Impact Engine

the Impact Engine improves collision variety, accuracy, and momentum preservation.A new advanced procedural animation system is used along with collision physics to produce different results depending on the players and physical forces involved. This affects all players, so even those off the ball may have collisions. The Impact Engine has been cited as a game changer, making FIFA 12 less structured and synthetic than its predecessors, and has been described by producer David Rutter as the biggest technological change to the series since the transition to the current generation of consoles. The Impact Engine also directly affects injuries sustained by players during a match. (from : Wikipedia)

The character was designed to fit Devil May Cry game developer Hideki Kamiya's vision of a "cool and stylish" man, and his personality was based on the titular character of manga series Cobra. The character has been well received by gamers, and has often been listed as one of video gaming's coolest characters. (wikipedia)

Video Game Genres : Shooter

Shooter games are a subgenre of action game, which often test the player's speed and reaction time. Because shooters make up the majority of action games, it is a fairly wide subgenre. It includes many subgenres that have the commonality of focusing "on the actions of the avatar using some sort of weapon. Usually this weapon is a gun, or some other long-range weapon". A common resource found in many shooter games is ammunition. Most commonly, the purpose of a shooter game is to shoot opponents and proceed through missions without the player character dying.
